: Who cares! Buy the StudioII package, it's MUCH more advanced in colour processing and image treating, as well as speed as almost any driver available elsewhere.
Calm down Zippy! I did buy Studio Pro II. However, it is absurd that
you can't get a driver from HP for anything except Windoze, Messy-DOS,
or a Mac. You shouldn't have to spend another $100 for driver
software just to get basic functionality of a new printer! I didn't
mind paying the $100 for Studio Pro II because I knew I was getting a
high quality driver, and a very nice printing program that will print
any image with minimal RAM. However, I still have no way to align the
print cartridges in my HP660C, since HP doesn't offer a driver for the
Amiga, and according to HP, there is no way to perform this function
from the two front-panel buttons. As I asked HP in a letter to them,
what do they expect you to do if you, for instance, bought an HP
deskjet for use with a small HP 700 series machine running HP-UX?
